The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications 

 

Education
Associate's Degree Nursing required
Bachelor's Degree Business Administration, Statistics, Public Health, Quantitative Analysis or related discipline required
Master's Degree Business Administration, Public Health, or Health Administration preferred

Experience

8 years related experience manipulating large relational databases, statistical programming and development of data displays.  Experience manipulating large databases should preferably include strong knowledge of relational databases and data warehousing concepts.  Data analytics and project experience in data querying, statistical programming and data visualization must include tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau, SAS, R or SSRS required.

3 years’ experience with quality improvement, LEAN, Six Sigma and/or other improvement methodologies preferred

Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree

Skills
Working knowledge of process improvement methods, statistical process control techniques and database applications
Superior working knowledge of MS Office applications and familiarity with data warehouse preferred
Work requires strong interpersonal communication skills and analytical ability sufficient to evaluate data, make sound judgments and recommendations
Work requires strong project management and problem solving skills with the ability to work independently, achieve tight deadlines and take initiative on multiple projects
Work requires ability to demonstrate the ability to work well with management, physicians, and other professionals in a direct and positive manner
Work requires working with departments to design and document operational procedures to support transactions processing and compliance with established regulations
Work requires team building and relationship management skills and abilities that include:
(a) Promoting organization culture and fosters teamwork;
(b) Encouraging high level commitment to the purpose of the organization;
(c) Actively engaging and providing meaningful input during external stakeholder meetings.
