Manager Utilization Management and Outpatient Services-Southwestern Health Resources CIN

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications 

Education
Associate's Degree in Nursing with an additional 2 years' experience will be accepted in lieu of Bachelor's degree. Or, Bachelor's Degree in Nursing and 3 years experience required. Or, Master's Degree in Nursing and 1 year experience required.

Experience
5 Years Utilization Management experience working in a managed care health plan, complex hospital, ambulatory care or other related health care setting (with Associate's degree) is required. Or, 3 years Utilization Management experience working in a managed care health plan, complex hospital, ambulatory care or other related health care setting (with Bachelor's degree) required. Or, 1 year Utilization Management experience working in a managed care health plan, complex hospital, ambulatory care or other related health care setting (with Master's degree) required.
3 years staff management and leadership experience preferred.

Licenses and Certifications
RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire

Skills
Working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in work environment and utilize medical criteria for decision making such as home health, long term acute care and skilled nursing.
Working knowledge of computers and basic software applications used in job functions such as word processing, databases, spreadsheets, etc.
Strong analytical and organizational skills.
Strong management experience and acumen.
Knowledge of specific Medicare/Medicaid regulatory requirements.
