Job Description
Meet required performance metrics designed to drive network performance.
Market, recruit, and sale to physicians and other stakeholders regarding the SWHR value proposition.
Market and sale SWHR within the marketplace to improve brand penetration.
Identify and prospect community primary care physicians and groups.
Thoroughly document in CRM, daily, regarding all interactions with physicians and stakeholders.
Analyze physicians' practice current condition including but not limited to financial, technological, legal, and operational processes.
Communicate and collaborate regularly with team members and Director regarding situations encountered and best practices.
Stay up-to-date on healthcare trends that affect primary care physicians and the industry as a whole.
Conduct oneself in a way that reflects positively on SWHR.
Meet with physicians and stakeholders in person, telephonically, or virtually, as needed, to gain a commitment.
Perform market research to determine network compatibility of physicians and groups.
Identify objections and hurdles apparent in the future membership of the physician or group and overcome them.
Successfully gain access to decision makers.
Successfully gain detailed information regarding practice setup, history, and plans for future practice.
Advise physician of contractual obligations as a member.
Successfully contract with physician or group regarding membership agreements, enrollment documents, and technological necessities.
Communicate confidence in the long-term benefits the physicians and stakeholders will experience as a member of SWHR.
Advise physicians and stakeholders of improvements they will experience as members of SWHR.
Consult physician and stakeholders regarding best practices for their unique practice.
Ensure accurate information regarding the physician practice is communicated to Payors and ACO programs.
Liaise communications with departments within SWHR.
Understand the complexities of Payor processes.
Update CRM account and contact data as needed.
Advise physician through credentialing process to reduce the time it takes to get them credentialed.
Assist physicians that have never practiced before to set up their practice in a way that is conducive to their long-term success.
Other duties as assigned.
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
Education
Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare, Business, or Related Field Required
Master's Degree in Healthcare, Business, or Related Field Preferred
Travel
70% local travel between Physician offices Required
Experience
4 years’ experience, to include 3 years in Healthcare Sales and/or Business Development Required
Progressive experience in a Multi-Site Healthcare Organization Required
2 years ACO and/or Value-Based Healthcare organization Preferred
