Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree Healthcare, Business or Administration (required)
  • Master's Degree (preferred)
  • 3 years’ experience in a Project Management role AND
  • 3 years of Healthcare Insurance Industry Experience OR
  • 3 years of Experience Supporting Outcome Metrics (with Bachelor's Degree) Required
 
OR
 
  • 4 years relevant experience in Lieu of a Degree (required) AND
  • 7 years’ experience in a Project Management role AND
  • 3 years of Healthcare Insurance Industry experience OR
  • 3 years of experience Supporting Outcome Metrics (without Bachelor's Degree) (required)

 
Position Responsibilities SWHR Program Manager PHSC support the operational development, implementation, and on-going quality improvement and effectiveness of the Clinical programs.  Recruit, Lead, and Mentor staff by example and through timely feedback to exceed program expectations.  Collaborate with the clinical and interdepartmental leaders to ensure full alignment of all CM/DM/Clinical programs.  Recommends and implements processes to maintain operational efficiency, including ceasing non-value add work.  Leads the planning and implementation of assigned Clinical projects and programs and present reports defining progress, problems, and solutions.  Constantly monitor and track project progress and report findings to the leadership team.  Develops and implements Standard Operating Procedures for program functions.  Develops and maintains departmental reports.  Assist Compliance Manager in auditing documents for quality and accuracy.  Proficient user of organization’s computer- based software applications and administrator for new and current users.  Demonstrate strong commitment to client service and deliver quality work product.  Use interpersonal/ communication skills and strategies with individuals to achieve: (a) desirable/acceptable outcomes/ responses (b) perceptions of satisfaction or acceptance of those involved.  Comply with established procedures and personnel policies.  Perform procedures required by the assignment: (a) safely, without causing harm (b) effectively, achieving the intended outcome/result (c) efficiently, using the fewest possible resources (d) legally, within the scope of practice/policy.  Establish and/or revise priorities based on: (a) urgency of the patient or organization’s need (b) resource availability (c) predetermined schedules (d) other department’s/ personnel’s expectations.  Ensure activities are prioritized to achieve desired results.  Seeks direction when lack of clarity exists to maximize performance.  Meets team goals by ensuring individual actions are aligned with the team’s needs.  Meet expectations and requirements of internal and external customers and treat them with respect; establish and maintain effective relationships with customers and gain their trust and respect.  Additional duties may be added. 
 
In addition to the required qualifications, a successful Program Manager PHSC will:
  • be proficient in various word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, and database programs including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • have strong analytical and organizational skills
  • have working knowledge and ability to apply professional standards of practice in work environment
  • have knowledge of specific regulatory, managed care requirements
