Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Economics (required)
Master’s Degree (preferred)
3 years Finance experience (required)
Extensive experience in and knowledge of Healthcare Medical and Insurance Industry (preferred)
Expert experience in Microsoft Excel Modeling (preferred)
Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), etc. Upon Hire (preferred)
 
Position Responsibilities SWHR Senior Financial Analyst tracks financial performance across all SWHR CIN lines of business on a regular basis using a variety of key metrics, provides finance support to business planning and budgeting processes, assists in the preparation of analysis planning and dashboard reporting for monthly finance committee meetings, coordinates with the accounting team on the timely and accurate preparation of the monthly financial statement package, and completes Ad hoc financial analysis as required.
 
In addition to the required qualifications, a successful Senior Financial Analyst will:
  • Broad understanding of financial and accounting principles.
  • Ability to establish and maintain productive relationships across the lines of business.
  • Desire for senior management exposure.
  • Excellent problem solving, communication, and organizational skills
  • Self-motivated and excellent follow-through skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and heavy workloads
  • Ability to work independently or as a team
  • Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, etc.)
